Hi Sarah – thanks for mentioning that specific issue.
In fairness to Wix – they attempt to use “responsive design” which breaks the page design into elements to rearrange on the page rather than simply making a smaller version on the site. That said, responsive design is very difficult to get right – and can be frustrating on a drag and drop platform like Wix. All the best on your project!

They boast great features for their desktop site, which is true, but when it comes to building your mobile version, there isn’t anything beyond resizing and hiding what you have on your desktop site. This means you are incredibly limited in what you have available to you to make a great looking mobile site. Also, what it looks like on your desktop (font etc.) doesn’t always look the same on the mobile site. Sometimes it’s even unrecognizable. It’s very frustrating. And the objects, font etc that you used on your desktop version may not exactly be workable with the mobile version. We are going to get a developer to mirror exactly what we created and close our wix account before we go live. It’s been a very frustrating experience with the mobile site.
